In 1963, the Schegerer family acquired properties in Lerchenstr., Bad Wörishofen, because their former hotel with only 20 bed had become to small for the ever growing number of regular guests.

After one and a half year of construction time, Kurheim Angerhof opened its doors and a success story took its course.

Still, 30 beds were not sufficient any more which lead to the expansion to 50 beds at the end of the sixties.

At the beginning of the seventies an indoor pool was added.

1979 - Expansion of the Kneipp department and dining hall

1985 -  Extension to70 beds and addition of underground parking

1991 - New apartments via connection of an adjacent building

1996 - Extension of the third floor

1997 - New conservatory and patio

2001 - Bestowal of four stars

2003 - New holiday flats by aquisition of an adjacent building

2004 - Opening of the Angerhof spa

2007 - Remodelling of the western facade and tower suite

2009 - Remodelling of the Kneipp department

2009 - Start of the renovation (facade and over 20 rooms)
